Fun at the playground

Momma and Papa-Daddy took me to the playground to play in the dirt with my special Thanksgiving clothes. I don't know what those two were thinking.

Fun with the tether ball. Watchout, that thing will get you when you are least expecting it.

Weeeeeeee.

Happy Thanksgiving

We flew to New Orleans and Jimbo and Lalou picked us up. We drove to Lafayette to spend Thanksgiving with Memere and other family. We had a nice time and ate too much.

We visited my great-grandmother Memere. We had a nice time together.

We sang songs in French. It was really fun.

More fun at the beach. Everyday is fun and exciting. We get to try new things and play a lot.
Ring around the rosie with Aunt Laura.

How about a cushion for my tushion? These rocks are hard and lumpy.

Runnnnnn.....

Pretending to nap on the beach.

Queen of the castle, sand castle that is....

Wheeeee! Jumping over the castle with Aunt Anne.

Surfer Girl

Hang time with Aunts on the beach.

Fun at the Beach 2006

We are here on our annual beach vacation with the whole gang. My grand parents, Oma and Whosit, are wonderful hosts. My aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends are all here. We are having a great time.

Checkout this shell. So many neat things on the beach!

I use this Tonka truck for moving the heavy rocks from A to B.

Look, I found a crab. I'm not scared to hold it either.

Hey, how about a push?

I get to have yummy lobster. Another reason to eat more butter.

I love to make sand forts at low tide. My cousins and aunts like to help build them.

Here is a look for you. Got my shades, my sun hat, and Pooh suit. Quite a beach babe, eh?

Kayak Competition in Steamboat (Memorial Day Weekend)

The weather on the last day of our trip was great. We went for a hike at Fish Creek Falls and got to watch part of a kayak competition. It was really neat.

We stopped for a photo opt on the bridge at Fish Creek Falls in Steamboat.

The river was really raging. We have never seen it this high before.

We lucked out and got to see a kayak competition. Here is a kayaking contestant on the first part of the course.

Here is another contestant. It was a gnarly course and they were finishing it in about 5 minutes.

Down in town there was a freestyle competition as well. Some of the contestants were pulling all kinds of tricks. Some of them were doing flips and cartwheels.

I really enjoyed watching them. Wow, these guys and gals really have the skills to pay the bills. Posted by Picasa

Camping in Steamboat (Memorial Day weekend)

We went on our second camping trip of the season. Well, we camped the first night anyway. We wimped out and got a room in town the second night because rain snow were in the forecast and it was getting colder.

We are camping. I like camping.

I'm telling Papa a joke.

Checkout my new camp chair. It is just my size.

Momma made blueberry pancakes for breakfast on our camp stove (which we apparently never clean).

Here is my Momma.

Look at all the stuff we brought. Is all this necessary? Will it all fit in our car? Maybe Summit and Maya will have to ride on the roof rack.

Here is self-timed group photo opp. Posted by Picasa
